About Ksheeradhara Therapy

This concoction poured down onto the forehead and the body of the patient from a vessel in a steady stream. The stream of milk is concentrated on the area between the eyebrows, right above the nose, this area is known as the glabellar region. The stream of milk activates the nerves in this area in turn stimulating the hypothalamus and pituitary gland and bringing about positive changes such as reduction of insomnia, and a boost in memory, reduction of excessive stress, a greater feeling of self-reliance among others.

The herb-infused milk is adjusted according to the requirements of the patient. The therapy has a cooling effect and is therefore highly recommended during the summer season. This decoction can also act as a moisturizer and provide nutrition to hair and skin and can help in the treatment of skin conditions and improve hair quality.
