Prishta Vasti
This treatment is focused on the entirety of the spine.
On the massage table, the subject lies on their back. The area above the spinal column is then covered with a reservoir made of gram flour or wheat flour.
About Prishta Vasti Therapy
It is filled with lukewarm oil infused with medicinal herbs and left for at least 5 to 10 minutes. Then the warm medicinal oil is substituted for the cooled oil after the oil has been squeezed out with a cotton swab. The treatment takes roughly 30 minutes.
Once the treatment with the oil is completed, the affected area is gently rubbed with the same oil to enhance the oil’s absorption after the procedure.
